I received one as well. I was emailed and then the interview was done via Telegram app. I was very hesitant at first and it then seemed legit. I even received the check and deposited it and it bounced back. The person I was contacted with “Sandra Roth” was wanting me to provide my bank login details for direct deposit, which I refused to provide. I will be contacting my bank. I feel so stupid for falling for this.

I was emailed about a potential job opportunity that was remote. I did a full interview , passed the interview and was sent new hire paper work, I-9 form, direct deposit for and was told to fill them out with a picture of my Id. I was then told the job required working material which included, a computer and scanner that I would need to purchase with the funds they would provide. They told me a check would be mailed to me and to deposit it into my account to purchase the materials. I soon learned it was a scam because my bank accounts were restricted and my bank terminated my who account with them

I am going through the same experience at this very exact time. My gut told me something wasn’t right about this at all. I completed the interview and received new hire information and returned my personal information as well. I’ve been told the check has been mailed and they are waiting on a tracking number to give me. I will be contacting my bank immediately.
