Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan

Received, mail Congratulations you have been pre-selected for a personal loan $10,000 - $50,000 claiming no impact to credit score. I’ve then called 800-973-8306 no response. They called me backed and left message to call them. Called again and spoke to a representative that told me that she did not know if I qualified unless I give her mailer code. I told her I did not have the mailer code and she asked for the last digits on my social number. Then told me she could not tell me if I qualified or not for the loan until I gave her an amount I needed. I gave her an amount and lastly said she could not tell me the amount I qualified for until I gave her the 1st two digits of my social security number. I was not happy with that and she said she could not proceed and to call her back when I’m ready to give her the info. I needed to know as I was hoping to use the loan money to pay off medical debt I then gave her the two numbers. She put me on hold for a few minutes to tell me I did not qualify and she could not give me a reason why. I told her this did not make any sense. They sent me advertisements saying I was pre qualified and went thru the steps for her to tell me I was not qualified and she couldn’t tell me why. I immediately thought there is something suspicious with this she maybe was fishing for my social or something else is going on. I am sending this in hopes you can investigate maybe they are a true company but I had issues in the past and this seems a bit fishy. For sure it is False advertisement. They shouldn’t be sending this notices at all if the clients are not prequalified. This is dishonest.
