Abacus Service Reports & Reviews (1)

I received an email from Kevin Naredia, a Recruiter at Abacus Service, regarding an Online Registration Clerk position, working for the State of Georgia, located at 2652 Lawrenceville Hwy, Decatur, GA 30033. He wanted me to rush and sign the letter, that he sent me confirming that I accept the $15.00 pay rate offered for the position. The shift for July was suppose to be 10 hrs a day, with Friday off. It was a 12 month assignment, so I expected the shift to later change. I agreed to it, and replied yes to the pay rate. Then he wanted me to submit a reference for the job, which I thought was kinder odd, but I submitted what I had from the previous job. He said, "he would see if his manager could accept it, and get back in touch with me, to move forward. He didn't call or email me back, but he did submit an email for a background check from INFO CUBIC Background check. Again, I thought it was odd, especially when their system, asked me for my mother's maiden name, my father's name, and the city in which they were born. I've never been asked that type of information for a background check, but this was a State of Georgia job, so I said okay. Also, it asked me to sign my me to

signature, then save it each time, and I did. Well, for some reason I got the urge to check the job out! I am sad to say, I couldn't pull the site up, even though there were many listings. Every time I clicked on the link, it just said, the site was taking to long to respond, so the site isn't available. I kept trying but it kept giving me the same message. I asked God to let me trust someone again, and this is what happened to me. It's so sad that someone could take advantage of someone that's just trying to go back to work! What really made me believe him, was 2 other agencies had contacted me for the same position. Ark, and Infoini Staffing! I don't know if they'RE running some type of scam, but I know I can't pull his business up! I wanted to make this report now, to protect other people that's trying to find a job. They're using the government to scam people. I don't know what he plan on doing with my information, but it can't be no good. Maybe, I need to play it out, to see if he, is going to try to get some money out of me, which I don't have! I've been hacked before, and someone ended up using my Social Security number to get a job. I usually don't trust no one, but it looked so real, and he sounded very professional. I'm waiting for a good time to call him, to see why his site isn't working. He probably won't even answer the phone now. I'll be surprise if it's still functioning. Unless he plan on hiring me, letting me work, then take my money then. They have all of my personal information: my name, date of birth, address, signature, my parents information, and my Social Security number. At this point, I'll expect anything from him. People please be careful with your personal information, when applying for a job. Also, I noticed, he didn't give me an address.
