My sons vehicle was towed when he was arrested and the tow cost was oddly enough exactly the amount he had in his wallet when he was arrested. I called and asked for the price of a tow from the same place his vehicle was towed to the tow yard and I was told it was only $85. However, the tow charge for my son was $170 plus a $80 gate fee plus $12 for milage. Which is $262 the same amount he had in his wallet when he was arrested. The odds of his tow bill being the exact same dollar amount my son had in his wallet is very low. When I asked him why I was told it would cost me $85 for the same tow, the man informed me that the same tow would cost different amounts for me, for an insurance company, for Idaho state police department, for Jerome city police department and even Jerome county police department.
