We were contacted by mail. The company name at the time was AA Mortgage Services.

They said we were entitled to a mortgage modification. We receive a call and they stated we would pay $1000 dollars to start the paperwork and

$900 when they were done.

They are currently operating under [AA Mortgage Services, Circle Business Center, 4500 CA-1, Long Beach, CA 90804]

We were able to look them up on the ScamPulse.com web page as not affiliated, but no complaints

The letter states you qualify for a loan modification. They provide number to call. Once you call they want mortgage statement utility bill proof of social security. After they receive the info they give a big speech about how they can get you a loan modification. They state you won't need to pay your mortgage payment once you sign documents, because your new loan will be processing. Next they say because they are saving you money you can use your saved mortgage payment to pay them their processing fees. That fee is more than the mortgage payment.
