A friend of mine got the info off the internet about ** *** divorce. I called and talked to *** she told my friend they charge $599.00 for a divorce ,at the end of our telephone conversation she charged $809.00 instead. *** told me they have an office here in *** *** **. she did not give me the address later I found they dont have an office here. *** told me the whole divorce takes only 6 weeks and everything is finalized and over no appearance in court. I asked her what state she was calling from she told us one state but the money went to another state. *** insisted she needed a credit card number immediately to get started as soon as I gave her my debit card number she hung-up, so I started having second thoughts so I immediately called my bank and explained what happened and they said if it turned out to be a fraud I had up to 60 days to claim it as fraud and the bank would put the money back in my account.After 7 weeks were up I called ** *** divorce and they wanted to e-mail me some legal forms I said OK I gave them an e-mail address at 3 different *** stores and ** could not send them the e-mail so I tried the library ** said it wouldnt work , I tried it at my apartment office ** said it wouldnt work. Before I made my first payment I told *** I did not have a computer nor an email address she said no problem, we can mail it or fax it to you. At the beginning *** faxed me the contract and receipt to one of the *** stores . Then they stopped answering my phone calls during normal work days and business hours . I have never dealt with a company that does business like that before so I called and reported fraud. Now my bank could not get them to respond so they are making ME pay them $809.00 for 4 sheets of paper and no services rendered. I called them 6-10-15 and they told me my account was closed and they could not deal with me any more.
