Initial contact was from someone claiming to be with A.I.G, was told I was hired via email (no interview) and would be receiving a check, I need to deposit check so that I can purchase items that will be needed for the admin position. I have now received a $3583.00 check. The check is from Herzog and Company out of North Hollywood CA. I looked up company it looks legit, however the bank address the check is drawn on has one digit different in zip code. I will not be depositing this check. I did just receive another email requesting an in person interview, still not gonna deposit check, they could always cancel.
