Beware of Scam (Time Tracker Software, Macbook Pro)

Data entry (remote) job posted on local facebook community group. Asked me to download Telegram (an app that's completely for anonymous messaging). Would conduct "job interview" over text message format. Would ask detailed questions. At the end, the "manager" says that the "higher ups" will have to approve of my application based on the responses. Process took 1-2 hours of back and forth messaging. Then comes back saying that I've been accepted. Says that she's going to now refer me to HR for enlistment. Asks for full name + email + phone + picture of driver's license. Also asks if I would like direct deposit or mailed checks. Then asks what bank I use (this is important, because they can also identity theft you by calling your bank as you with all the details). Then claims that to start the job, they must mail me a macbook pro 2019 work laptop. Claims that I will be provided everything except for a time tracker software for remote working, which must be paid for by myself. They said it must be a very particular software called "premium HOS IYT t/t" which you will NOT find on google. They said they can install the app only on their end (more sus). Tells me that I can find another vendor online OR utilize their own personal vendor (obviously if you can't find, you'll be forced to respond with buying from them). I asked what their personal vendor was called, and they went leaps and bounds to avoid giving me an answer (because there isn't one). They said it costs $78 and that it must be paid through Zelle or Venmo (really sus). I asked for a website of the vendor. They ignored that question again. I asked if the company can front the bill and take it off from my next check. They said no.

I was looking for employment and came across a work from home opportunity. I interviewed on the hang out app and it seemed legitimate at first. Then they want me to purchase gift cards and email it to [email protected] so they could use funds to deliver a MacBook. I sent them what they wanted and they then asked for 175.00 for delivery. I refused to pay it as I had already emailed gift cards. She is still bothering me on the hangout app. I have screen shots of the entire conversation.
