A family member's from their email Reports & Reviews (1)

Apparently this/these person(s) hijacked an elderly family members email contacts. They then sent out emails to all of the contacts, requesting assistance in buying a gift card on the Amazon website, claiming they were having trouble (which would make sense for an 85+ year old family member. When asked to call to clarify, they claimed they were having trouble with their cell phone and couldn't make calls. I called the family member and they said they'd been on the phone all day, receiving calls from and sending calls to people on their contact list. They had NOT generated the email and were mortified that someone could or would do this to them. It appears only one person (their neighbor) fell for the scam and started to purchase the card when they thought better of it and cancelled the purchase.
