Basically I started following this creator because I saw they were from Michigan like myself and I wanted to support them. I noticed on their account they had comments turned off, you could not share their posts, you could not message them, and you could not tag them in anything. They posted regularly with normal sounding captions and they even had a normal looking website… So I took this as authentic. I wanted to support a Michigan artist and I ended up purchasing a hat from the website. Written on their website it stated 1-2 week turnaround, which for me was fast for a hand knit hat, so I was looking forward to quick delivery. When week 4 came and went I said well… maybe they overlooked my order. By week 6 I had sent 2 emails regarding the issue with no response… yet they were still posting on their Instagram. By week 9 I had received a “update on my order” for a bit of shipping information from USPS and there was a tracking number… it said pre-shipment. It is still in pre-shipment TO THIS DAY. I sent an email regarding this to the other email I discovered on their Instagram page. Still no response. Finally I called the bank and told them what happened, sent them ALL the screenshots… and they gave me a full refund. The Instagram account is: adarlingknits If you literally just google “a darling knits/ reviews” you will see a flood of others this has happened to unfortunately. Many many people with the same exact experience.
