A representative from A Com, Alex Carlson signed my 88 year old mother for Direct TV. She had Dish and was very happy with them. He told her he represented both Dish and Direct TV and could make changes without any fees. He said he could turn off the Dish account and they would waive the fees for breaking the contract early. He also said there would be no hookup charges for Direct TV. He did not turn off Dish. He was not authorized to make any changes to her account so she was charged for the continued service for another month as well as breaking the contract early. There was also a $159 charge to hookup Direct TV. He now will not answer his phone or respond to any request for help or an explanation. He goes door to door knocking on homes and directly targeting elderly people. He needs to be stopped! Direct TV will not help us out. I have gone to the police to locate him.
