I received a phone call from a 205 area code stating a complaint # and no call back number was given. My mother also received a call from a different # with a 205 area code. She answered the call and they call her the number 951.402.0372 and a complaint #. I can the number that was given, there was an automated hold for the next representative. A female answered, never stated the company or her name. I had to ask for both. Her name was Jennifer and she was calling from Franklin, Jones and Morgan. On a complaint about a bad check that was written for a check advance place. Stating the contract was bought out and the company who bought it is filing suit for a misdemeanor malicious intent and payback of check amount plus legal fees. She stated a letter was sent to my address and no letter was received. She stated I could get served papers and pay 4,000 in court cost and get my wages garnished. She stated we can get this settled today for 1500 or 200 a month for 10 months. She never stated a disclaimer that this was an attempt to collect a debt. I told her I would call her back and she stated it needs to be by the end of the day before the courts close. I googled the company and this was the only thing that came up with the relations to the name provided.
