I called about trying a house for rent and they wanted me to go to some weird website that they wanted to email me and wouldn't answer me when I asked if I could make an appointment to go see it. After I hung up they called back from an 800 number

I had a property listed for rent. The scammer stole photos and reposted the ad. as if they owned the home. A prospective tenant thought the scammer was suspicious sounding asking for a deposit before they could see inside the house. The scammer was also asking a fee for application. The prospective tenant found my ad. and called me to report her concerns. She gave me the scammer telephone number and name, Sergio 941-231-4415.
