I googled a phone number for Budget Rent a Car. I called and spoke to Aaron. He had a Hispanic accent. I asked for a six passenger vehicle for my daughter's birdthday. I was suposed to pick it up on July 13th. He said he had a Chevy for $500. He asked me to pay him with a GoTo Bank/Green Dot card. I told him I didn't have money to give for nothing. He told me I could get them from Walgreens or any other store. I went to Krogers on E Broad St, Columbus, OH. He said I would be reimbursed $500 when I pick up the car. I bought one GoTo Bank card for $385. He asked me to read the numbers from the front and back of the cards. He said he didn't receive the money, the card had already been activated. I said I can't belive it as I just paid for it. Then he called back and said I needed to pay the exact amount $350. I drove to a different Krogers because I thought an employee at Krogers might have done something to the cards. I called GoTo Bank and they said the card came up under the name Jonathan. At the second Krogers on S Hamilton Rd, Columbusw, OH, I bought one for $350 to keep the car reservation. Then I talked to him, and he blocked my number. So I called the number back from my house phone, and he hung up. On July 13th, I drove to 396 which was Car Enterprise, and they said I needed Budget Enterprise. I returned home and called Budget Enterprise. They said the two sets of numbers I was given were not in their system. I called back, but the number is now disconnected.
