I received a letter seemingly from my old mortgage lender although at the bottom it stated not affiliated with the mortgage lender. The letter was regarding “an important matter” of a final notice (I had not received any other notices) and to call this number 888-607-3676. At the bottom there was a fake waiver of $199.

Received a letterwhich reads: "this letter is to inform you about an important manner regarding property secured by your current lender. We reserve the right to revoke allocated waiver after 7 days of receiving this notice.

Call immediately as this will be our final attempt to notify you 888-607-3676." The letter includes a “check” for $199.00, and a homeowner ID#.

Its a allocated waiver of 199.00 to expire in seven days. Must call immediately to recieve 199.00. Its a final notice with my lenders name on it but states it is not affiliated with my lender. Comes with blank unsigned on front of the check no buisness name on the check resulting in a call to them to attempt to get the check endorsed.

A letter seemingly sent from our mortgage lender, Crosscountry Mortgage, stating that after seven days of receiving this notice, the allocated waver would be revoked. It has our full names and address. At the bottom there is a fake check for $199.00
