I was contacted via text message directly to my phone. The message said that my "application has been reviewed, and this is your product:" followed by a website address to follow link showed " https://t.prowolt.com/3YQB3T ". , When I clicked on that link the first page to come up said "Congratulations! You're Today's (Then the words in large font blinking and moving from back to front in animation) was the word "WINNER" in captal letters. It asked to fill out the delivery address, phone number and email address. Then a button at the bottom also blinking animated from back to front said "Claim Your Free Gift" and an ">" arrow. The application I filled out was to be an in home product tester. The product they indicated was a Samsung 55" TV. As I went forward, looking at the information and proceeding to check-out, the information showed zero for the product, but a charge of $5 for the "delivery fee". I immediately phoned the company (which, by the way, was in extremely small and not contrasting number down at the bottom of the page). Also somewhere in the information there was a disclaimer about sending credit card information that it would not be charged. I quote, "sign-up on the next page, to receive your free Samsung TV..... to verify it's you, please add a credit card, you will not be charged", then a button saying "confirm now" But when I got to the last check out page where it asked for the credit card information it said at the bottom "PAY NOW". I asked the representative that answered, "if I had applied to be an in home product tester, was I needing to pay $5.00 for the delivery fee of $5?". first off she corrected me and said the delivery fee was $9.99. I told her that didn't matter that I wanted to know why I was being charged to test the product that I had signed up for. Finally she told me that I was not getting the product itself, but a CHANCE to win the product in a raffle. I immediately repeated her answer to me to confirm. She did confirm. I told her that I had not signed up for that and that everything they had put on their webpage was deceptive and that it was a scam and then I hung up. Immediately I came to the ScamPulse.com website to file a complaint. First I looked for another like it, but didn't find anything, so this is an initial complaint as far as I can see. This was VERY deceptive. I am an intelligent woman who is always leery of this kind of text or email and even I was almost scammed. Please let others know not to fall for this. Thank you.
