07/27/23, Email from ‘Geek Squad, Best Buy’ stating my account is updated by virtue of ‘dinging’ my checking account for $472.42. This bogus invoice MHJMP3DQSS#. I’ve never had such an account with them. Well over 15 years ago did go to Best Buy in Cumming, GA for some assistance but didn’t ‘purchase’ anything, only paid for the service I received. I’ve checked my current bank accounts and even though this bogus I novice states my account has been charged, there is no such activity noted on any of my bank accounts. So my concern is that this nefarious attempt obviously has my email address … so I don’t know what else they may have of my ID info etc. Just wanted folks to be aware.
