Was desperate to find a place to live. Paid $1.00 to Rent Before Owning to research their website for suitable and affordable housing. Could not search right away but when I went back into site they wanted another $1.00 to search. After a week and still unable to get into site a charge was made to my debit card for $49.60. I phoned and after getting the run around by someone who spoke very bad English I then spoke to a supervisor who told me the account was closed and to look for a refund. It has now been over the 5 - 7 workdays and I have not received a refund nor anything in writing saying the “account” was closed.
