Received call from Credence Resource Management claiming to be a collections agency for a medical claim that was unpaid. They attempted to call my insurance provider to discuss the status of the claim. I was advised to call the medical provider for more information. I had logged into the provider website and verified the claim was previously paid and not in collections. This was an attempt to obtain funds in the amount of $2971. Credence had some of my information such as phone number, email, and claim # that they apparently obtained online.
