Because I have had a previous use of my credit card that was resolved, I answered the call. It came from the actual number on the back of the credit card and showed up in the call log as "CITI." They had alot of my personal info too, but I may have given them more. Once I got done with them I felt I had been scammed so I called CITI back and got to their site but for several times I tried explaining my problem I would get a call from that number and it would lock up my phone so I had to power it down to get out of the site. After a couple of hours I tried again and got through to a rep. and explained what had happen She put a stop on my card and will issue a new one. I have to wait until an investigation is completed to get a new card. After that call my wife and I received numerous calls and did not answer them. I am not sure the amount of money involved and I am afraid to answer the phone without knowing if it is actually Citi or not needing info to complete their investigation.
