My name is Rebecca Anderson I am a 66 year old disabled woman. I have received 2 ringless voicemails in the past 3 days so today when I received the second voicemail it gave me a name of "Christina Maxwell" and some kind of document number and a call back number so I called back and first a man answered and he asked me for the case or file number #13169381 which I gave him he asked me if my name was Rebecca Anderson which I told him it was and what can I do for them and he stated he would transfer me which he did. When they finally answered the woman stated she was "Karen" and started out very rude saying she is not going to talk to me without the number. I stayed very calm and gave her the number she then started passive aggressively berating me saying I have a complaint against me and they need to verify my information and immediately asked me to confirm that the last 4 digits of my social was xxxx and I then told her there is no way i'm giving anyone my social and as I am trying to answer her she is steadily trying to talk over me to intimidate me and she got very irate when I would not comply and stated she was not going to let me yell at her and hung which I never raised my voice not even once. I knew it was a scam as soon as she began to talk. I gave no information except for the confirmation of my name but I know this is a scam. They called at 1:08 pm and I called back The number they left is 1-855-291-5920 however my phone will show the number called even though there was a voicemaill left and the phone number that came up on my phone was 1-775-301-1551 I called it back to confirm it was the same people and it was. I told the person that answered I was turning them in to the FTC and ScamPulse.com and they said "Go ahead they can't do anything to us" and he then proceeded to tell me that the FTC and ScamPulse.com only handles debts and the collection, complaints of debts I told him that was a lie and I hung up.
