Google Voice Scammed! Was selling a product on FB market & a lady reached out & wanted to buy & then after making meet up details asked for my number & wanted too verify I was a real person & sent me a Google voice code. Then disappeared.

I had the same thing just happen on FB Marketplace! I stupidly gave her my phone # so she can send a code. I did it 3 times! Super dumb! What did she gain by doing this? Is there something I need to do since this happened? What can I do?

i listed an item on FB market place. this number 8552448947 sent me a code and asked to send the verification code back to make sure I am real. I did send the code. what now? then they said it is not working and asked for numbers of my other family members or neighbors, i did not give them any additional numbers, what can happen to my number?.

Potential buyer from Facebook Marketplace was interested in buying my product, asked me for my phone number so she could send me a code and verify my authenticity that I was a real person. I gave her my phone number, then I looked up scam on internet. how do I retrieve my phone number ?
