I received a text from chime trying to confirm a transaction if i approved or not, I did not so i responded no. Then i received a call from their direct customer care number stating that my account was at risk, they were creating a new account to transfer the money. Chime refuses to take responsibility and give me my money back, when the call came from them directly.

2/1/25 at 5:56pm I got contacted via Text message (603-426-1983) from Chime that my Chime Builder Card was used in Texas. I responded by saying, “No”. I was then told by Chime a representative will contact me shortly. 2/1/25 at 6:09pm Chime called me on my cellular phone (844-244-6363 - Chime Customer Service Number) I was with Chime on the phone for 59 minutes and 50 seconds. They introduced themselves from Chime and stated the fraud alert and what card it came from which was my Credit Builder Card. I told them I didn't authorize the transaction so they advised me to transfer my funds to a new account and get new cards. I responded accordingly by taking their advice. Prior to my decision, I looked up the number that called me and went online to confirm that it was Chime who called me and the numbers matched. I wasn't going to provide any information, however since the number was the same and they confirmed my information in my transaction history I followed their instructions. They opened up an account (New Profile Account) and gave me new account numbers. (Email Attached) We tried to transfer to them, however the transfer was not working. Kept getting an error message from Chime. I was then instructed to transfer to an account because it needed an override. All $1607.89 were transferred to a Ashney C. through the Chime App. ($1507.89 was in my account and the $100 was from the Loan offer from Chime) After all the funds were transferred over, I was advised that my funds would be available within the hour. I waited and at the one hour mark I looked at my app and no funds were there. I called Chime and that's when the truth was revealed. I was scammed. Chime had no record of calling me, even though I have it on my phone's call log. They don't have any information regarding the one hour call I had and that's when I spoke to the fraud department. I told them what had happened and they gave me a dispute number. They said they would give me an update on the dispute once they have it. 2/3/25 at 2:45pm I received an email from Chime that they closed out my dispute case and will not refund me the money I had lost due to a scam. 2/3/25 at 2:54pm I called Chime and went to a supervisor asking why the dispute case was not approved. I went through 2-3 different persons explaining my situation. I was frustrated that I kept asking to speak to another supervisor who will guide me on what can be done at this point. The Chime supervisor advised me to get a Police Report and submit it to them. 2/3/25 at 4:02pm I called Chime again to provide them a temporary Police Report. I submitted the document to https://help.chime.com/hc/en-us/articles/221405728-How-do-I-dispute-a-charge-on- my-card I was then told to wait on an update. 2/4/25 at 2:46pm I called Chime and updated my Police Report temporary number to an official one. 2/11/25 at 8:18am I called Chime to get an update to my re-opened dispute and was told it was closed with the exact same answer. I asked the representative to reopen it and have them look again. 2/14/25 @8:50am I called Chime to get an update to my current re-opened dispute. I also sent them more information via emails I got from the entire transaction. Still pending. 2/15/25 @10:41pm I got an email from Chime stating “Based on our investigation, we have concluded no error occurred.” Basically, dont trust Chime Bank when they call you.

I received a debit card from Chime online bank in the mail yesterday, March 28, 2025, with a thank you for

opening a new account. I did not open this account. I immediately called Chime and spoke to representative

Jennifer. She could not reveal any information about who might have opened this account, but she did say

that my full social security number had been used to open the account online. I requested that she close the account, which she did. She did not tell me that they would provide a Visa credit card as well, which I received today, March 29, 2025. I called again and requested that they close the credit card, asked if I am to expect further communications, and asked them not to use, sell or rent my information. The Chime account was opened in spite of the fact that I had placed on my credit on February 7, 2025 with Equifax, Experian and Transunion. Yesterday I confirmed with

each bureau that the freezes were active, then placed additional fraud alerts and proceeded to check all

financial accounts and change passwords. I am disturbed that Chime allows online opening of accounts without verification and that credit freezes are not adequate protection against this form of fraud.

I called Chime about my cashout transaction link to chime. The tech with chime ask for the amount and to download an app name Zoho so that he could utilize my account. He ask for chime card information and transferred all of my money to his card. Chime and Cashout declined my dispute saying I didn't have enough evidence. Turned out it was an employee with chime that scammed me July 1, 2024

I got a check transferred into my account and I called to get help with it because I was having fraudulent charges already in my account. The person I talked to said they would help me transfer the money to my self to a seperate account but they pay anyone on chime. I was already panicked and didn’t think much of it so I listened to him. Well litttle did I know he was sending my entire pay check to himself . He even helped me send in the reversal code/dispute so it would help me out in the end then put me on hold. I sat in hold for about 15 minute and never heard from him again. I hung up and called back because I never saw the money back into my account, and the next chime agent I talked to said I was scammed and that the dispute I put in would be denied. Sure enough the next day the dispute was denied when it should not have Been; so I called back every single day to get my money back.. and see why the dispute was denied but everyday they send me in circles with the fraud teams and the dispute team and tell me the same things. They never help me with anything and are so unbelievably rude. They keep telling me I have to wait for the investigation but they won’t even give me a temporary credit. That was my whole pay check for 2 weeks and I’ve expressed how important it is and how badly I need it and it’s already coming up on my next check without even seeing my previous one. They don’t help whatsoever.

Claim that someone hacking my account. Gave amount and chain store, no geographic location. Got a text on a separate number from Hawaii. 808-740-2401. When i tried to call it, it had a robotic voice mail not identifying as anyone, so i hung up. Within 30 sec, I then got the call from 844-244-6363 saying that they are Santender. When i threatened to report to the ScamPulse.com for the second time, they hung up. Checked acct and there is NO record of a purchase that they claimed was made. Proof that this was a phishing scam to try and get info. Not the first time but they are aggressive. Wish i knew how they got my info.
