I looked up 833-900-9007 on Google. Led me to this ScamPulse.com scam profile. Mail sent in official appearing mailer with perforation tabs. Stated made several attempts to reach you without success. It's of utmost important that you get in touch with us at your earliest convenience to verify your settlement estimate of $ (less than 1/10 of full amount owed) for your back taxes. To complete your eligibility verification, we requires the following information: Confirmation of whether you've filed your 2022 and 2023 Federal/State tax return, and other necessary personal information. Call 1-833-900-9007 to provide the above information and confirm your eligibility. The remaining part of the mailer had listed the tax debt to be both Federal/State income tax lien filed against you in the amount of $. Failure to take action by 06/13/2025 will result in the withdrawal of this offer/and enforced collection activity that may occur including: bank levies, wage garnishment, liens and judgement.

Company mailed a formal looking notice with tear off sides, looking like a notice from my county tax office. The outside return address said the name of my county and the state and the date of a recorded lien. Under that it had the scammers address. THe front also said CRITICAL notice and Past Due Tax Notice and requested any update in my home address. The inside said it would take the 5577.00 dollars and completely settle my tax issue and that I had to call by a certain date or my accounts would be liened. Only at the bottom, in tiny print, did it say "This is a private company."
