Israel Serrano approached me at my local gym, he befriended me and introduced me to his wife, Martha. A few days into our friendship, he began to tell me he and his wife were ambassadors for Herbalife and business owners of a juicing shop named Serrano Nutrition. As our friendship continued and they gained my trust, Israel began boasting about his finances and told me if I invested in their company I would receive a 10% capital gain on my investment. From November 2021 to May 2022 I invested $47,882.51 and $3,000 cash into the Serrano Nutrition business but I found out it was Israel’s personal Chase account. They promised on three separate occasions I would receive my investment plus capital but it’s been over two years and I haven’t received anything. I’ve tried to take them to court but they refuse to respond or reach out to me. Their scam has severely affected my life and mental health.
