I purchased a flashlight from this merchant in December 2022 and somehow, in addition to the cost of the flashlight they began charging me for some type of TV/APP subscription. The $19.97. monthly was noticed by me until May 2023. Although I called and complained, they only stoped my subscription refusing to refund my total amount. They told me that i had 30-day window to cancel the "free" subscription with my flashlight purchase and since I didn't cancel they proceeded to charge me the $19.97 per month since January 2023. I cancelled on May 2023 (Transaction # 8373398319.) I have absolutely no recollection of ever signing up for this subscription when I purchased the flashlight and certainly obtaining a TV/APP subscription was not my initial intent. This is a fraud/scam because at the point of purchase, the merchant mislead me by requiring me to not only purchase his product, but also take the additional step of declining an additional purchase. In addition, when I requested contact information, the answering service refused to provide me any business contact information, which forced me to file this notification and SCAM alert. I have a feeling I'm not the only unsatisfied customer, I have feeling this fraud methodology is their standard operating procedure.
