The scammer was pretending to be a customer service agent from Wells Fargo Bank and he claimed that my card had fraudulent charges pending from a different state and in order for me to get a new card, He would first send me a message through my phone and then I would enter in a new pin from my keypad....hmmmm that was a red flag because Wells Fargo will NEVER ask you to enter any pin number from your keypad on your phone. They will never ask you for your financial information, Or your pin number period!!!

If it was fraudulent, they would tell you and give you that information and send out a new card and verify your information.. You would have to call the automated service to set up a new pin...So I hung up the phone and he called back twice but I blocked the call so be careful because they will use the name Wells Fargo and you will see it on your caller id and it will be a 800 number. But check your account yourself and call a legitimate phone number from Wells Fargo and speak to an agent. He was very persistent so right there it made me uncomfortable and when I did call the Real Wells Fargo Customer Service they didn't even recognize 800-556-0605... So be careful if this number calls you.. Give them Nothing!!!! ITS A SCAM
