Looked on-line to find TSA pre-check for future travel. Found Gov+, whose website is govplus.com. Filled out an application for TSA-pre-check in amount of $97.00 via credit card. Received further e-mails indicating account had been set up. Checked status of the TSA-pre-check and it get reporting 80% completed. I called 800-506-7587 to find out the status. (I also had already received an on-line receipt for the $97.00I paid and it was already reflected on my credit card). The individual (name of Nicki) informed me that I'd need to set up an appointment for the finger printing. I was sent another e-mail which indicated that I had "completed the pre-enrollment process" and also included the date of my appointment. When I arrived for fingerprinting at Identogo, I was told I needed to pay an additional $78.00. They stated that I should have never been asked to pay on-line. I called Gov+ again (spoke with John this time), told them they were a scam and that I'd be reporting them and hung up on them. I received a call back voicemail within 30 minutes from Gov+ indicating they were sorry for my disappointment and that they would cancel my application and refund my $97.00. I will be looking for this on my account.

Applied for TSA Precheck on 3-21-2023, It look like a legitimate website. I have never heard anything else from them since I paid $97 online to them. I spoke with the TSA this morning and they have no record of me applying for TSA Precheck and said they do not accept money online, that I would pay in person when I am scheduled for an appointment.
