I called to cancel an order with Sears Parts Direct. The greeting immediately pushed a "special offer" which had nothing to do with the matter at hand. Asked if I was over a certin age. I pushed 2 for no. Machine kept pushing to give me a medic alert button. Asked if I could hear them. Unfortunately, I answered yes, and the voice yammered on and I couldn't interrupt, so I know it was a machine. Now I am concerned about a voice recognition scheme to simulate my approval for who knows what.
