10/10/24 I was called by a person (John Reed) stating he worked for Publisher's Clearing house. He asked for me by name and said I was one of the winners of $2 million dollars, a new Mercedes Benz, color of my choice as well as the $10,000. a day prize. He said he would transfer me to his manager for the details. He pretended to transfer me to (David White) who proceeded to tell me I needed to go the Walmart or CVS to purchase a Green Dot - Money Pack Scratch Card for $500. The person delivering my check would need 2 forms of ID from me; my driver's license and the green dot card. I was told to hurry as they were also delivering to someone else today. I told him it sounded like a scam and Mr. White assured me it wasn't. When I started asking more questions he started speaking aggressively towards me. I remained calm and asked if I could ask a couple of questions. When I started reading your scam info out loud, he used profanity, and I hung up!
