I downloaded teams and proceeded to have an all text interview with a "Samantha Langwel". She told me i would have to go through the text interview and then a zoom video interview.
The next day after the all text interview I received an offer letter. She also stated she would be sending me a check for all necessary equipment for this fully remote data entry position. She sent me a check for $4500 from JP Morgan Chase.
This seemed odd so I googled the company and it is a real company however it is actually located in Canada.
