I was first reached out to via text message, from the number 615-909-3697, claiming they were Courtney Katlyn from Interwell Health. They offered a position of Remote Data Entry Analyst for $30 per hour. I was then told the interview process would be conducted via the Signal app. Then, I was contacted by "Jennifer Rodriguez" on Signal with the number +1 832-559-0483.

They asked some basic questions every employer asks, and then told me Interwell Health will "take full responsibilities for your Office equipment. You will have 2weeks of training via zoom, you will be paid $20.00 an hour during the 2weeks of training and later goes up to $30.00 an hour when you start work." Then, I was asked three sets of 5 questions for the interview via text. Some strange questions they asked included "What phone carrier are you with and how long? (b) Post paid or prepaid plan?" , "What do you understand by privacy and code of conduct?", "(a) Would you prefer to be paid weekly or Bi weekly? (b) What financial institution do you bank with? To see if it tallies with the company's salary account."

After these questions, I was told that Interwell Health will "fully cover the cost of your home office equipment." I was asked to text again at 8 AM the following day to see if I got the job or not. I was told I received the job, and then told "We are going to be communicating through this messenger till after 7 days of working with us, after then once we are done updating our website will be given to you including a link to our server. Also after then list of contact phone numbers to various departments will be sent to you." There were so many grammatical errors when they were messaging me.

They then asked for my full name, current home address and apartment number, city, state and zipcode, my direct cell number and preferred email address. They then said "You'll receive a check for your office equipment. However, due to the delays associated with our personal courier services and you not having a credit card, the Company has decided to send you a check for your office equipment, via your email address. You'll are required to deposit the check electronically using your mobile banking app. Funds will be made available instantly or the next day as soon as the deposit is received by your bank when the funds are available for you to make the purchase of the working materials, you will be required to make the payment from the private vendor which is approved and recommended by our company."

I was told the list of equipment needed was: "Apple Laptop (Macbook Pro 15- inch with OS X Mojave), Laser Printer (Hp LaserJet Pro M1536dnf), Fellowes Micro-shred COnfetti-cut paper shredder (Fellowes Power-shred MS-450Cs), Jabra GN9120 (Flex Boom Headset)." I was then sent a PDF of my "Offer Letter" via Signal app, and was told to print it out and sign it. I was then asked if I had access to a printer, if I had my bank's mobile app, my mobile deposit limit, and my preferred email. I was told the check would be for below 5,000. This was the last text I received.
