Last night a guy named Alex called. Said he was from Equifax. Said he was checking if I opened a credit card account in Michigan and Texas. Asked about my credit cards and numbers. I was suspicious and asked if I could call him back. He gave me this phone number. I immediately called Equifax and they told me they do not show any applications in my name from Michigan or anywhere else. They put a credit freeze on my account and also added it to Experian and TransUnion. Tonight I got a call from Andy stating the same thing. Credit card applications, same story. He also had all my credit information including my social security number. Even gave me my balances on my cards. This is very scary. He told me I would not be able to use my credit cards for 6 months and they were freezing my accounts and protecting me from identity theft. When I asked for his phone number, low and behold, it was this same number. Total Scam! There has to be a way of stopping this same company.

Called my 83 year old Mom telling her she qualifies for a "debt validation" program because she has already made so many payments to her credit cards and she is on a fixed income. I called the number and someone answers and claims to be from this program with Esperian. I know they had a data breach a year or so ago and these guys have a lot of people's credit card numbers but not the numbers on the back of the credit cards. Don't give them any information-I told them they are scammers and to not call my Mom back-He claimed to be Jake Tyler with an east Indian ascent. Go figure.

Robo caller from 202-919-5361, then transferred to a person who said he was with Experian and someone had applied for credit cards in Michigan and he could delete them and fix my credit report. I asked him for a number to call him back and he gave me 561-608-1191 and 561-608-1163.

Got several calls from a person by the name of Danielle Romero, saying that my wife had applied for credit card for online in Michigan and had her social security number and wanted more information but I did not give it to him. I decided to check out the number when I found this site.

Cisco Ramon (after being transferred 2 times) called to tell me that 2 cards were being applied for under my name in Michigan. Told him over and over that I didn't have time. Called me during my working hours. How do they have so much information? Knew all of my cards, the balances, etc.

This person (Cisco Ramon) called to say that credit cards were being taken out in my name. He had all my credit information - SSN and card numbers and balances. Then said two cards were being taken out in my name; he would cancel them. Then tried to tell me about debt reduction. I told him over and over that I did not want anything and he would not listen. I finally hung up and he stopped calling. Was very persistent. But he had much personal information.

Said he was checking to see if we opened an account in Michigan for Penny's. Then ask about other credit cards and numbers. We I told him I didn't have them with me he said he would call back in 2 hours.
