Type of a scam Phishing
The name given was John Resnick
He Knew my name, age, address, and email (i assume pubic record)
Asked how I wanted to receive the prize, said they were sending paper work to show me it was real
Paperwork said you have to open a new bank account for amount to be deposited and pay an up front gift tax.
I had never heard of a tax that coukd not be deducted so i looked up PCH and called them. They said they never notify winners in advance and that they give checks directly not deposited into a new bank account.
I believe this group wants your personal information thru a new bank account and possibly a tax scam
