I am filing this on behalf of a client of mine at Skeen Plumbing & Gas. The marketing coordinator called me to get my opinion. She stated that someone named Susan called her from 866-416-6049 and told her that she needed to get their information for 411 Directory Assistance. She also stated that they work with YP (formerly Yellow Pages, which I am a marketing consultant for), and that they needed to pay to be found on 411. My client was suspicious and asked if she could call her back for more information. Susan then told her that she is so busy because so many people want their services that she couldn't give her a return phone number and that she would call my client back later. Fortunately my client wrote then number down from caller ID and then called me. This "Susan" is trying to scam people to be on 411. 411 directory service is free to anyone with a land line, which my client has. They are also impersonating them as a partner with YP, which she is not.
