An individual has been calling me for the past three months, often 10 or more times a day, claiming there is a notice and an active investigation against me. They repeatedly state that if I do not respond immediately, I will be served with legal papers. The caller insists that I must contact 888-486-7174 to avoid legal action or criminal charges. Every day, and in every message, they keep saying that “today is your last day.” It would be helpful if both the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and the police department could investigate this number and the individuals behind these threatening calls.
