Got a text from Mr. Johnson Cole the Head Admin of Anthem BC/BS stating that he was responding to a job request I looked into. (which I had been job hunting so may not have been off) He proceeds to tell me the 4 positions that are open and the pay rate is $34.95hr. Next he ask me what my area of specialty is. I find this the first red flag as he supposedly has my resume and can see. So I proceed to tell him the position I would be interested in perusing. Now he wants to know if I have the Signal App. I do not so I go download it, while he tells me in text that I will be contacted by Morgana the HR representative that will give me more information on the job I am interested in and how to proceed. Morgana Williams messages me on the app and gives me what the requirements are for the job and asked me if I could handle the job if trained. Obviously they do not have my resume, because what the job duties were I have listed on my resume and they would have clearly seen this is would not be a problem! Red flag two! I never answer any questions with just YES. I round about my answers to answer the questions. Then she sends me a list of 6 questions, which are my "interview" questions and tells me to answer each one as briefly as possible and type DONE to let he know I am done answering them. They are really generic things like, "Are you seeking employment in a company of a certain size?", "Have you been military before?", "How long do you intend on working in the company?" "Have you used bank to deposit checks?" Red Flag 3. "What Bank do you Operate to see if it tallies with the company's official salary payment account and how many years have you been with them?" Red Flag 4. "Do you have an HP laser-jet printer, copier and scanner?" I answer very vaguely like, size of company doesn't matter, haven't been in military, I own a Brother printer not HP, I can deposit checks, I bank at (generic bank name) and been with the about 5 years (not the truth). She comes back immediately with "After due consideration and answers you provided during the interview session.. The good news is, you have just been confirmed qualified for this position. You are not offered the job position. You are HIRED! Now she tells me that I will be passed over to a training coach and called shortly. She said the funds for the software/equipment, direct deposit etc. is branded with their logo and tracking information and they will mail a check to me to pay for it. Now I will get a call from my new coach Mr. Morgan if that is okay. I answer back with I am at work and it is hard to talk while in the office. She said that is okay Mr. Morgan is going to call you if that is okay. So I said well I will do my best to communicate with him. Then the app calls me with Morgana Williams name and a foreign accent starts to talk. He keeps saying can you hear me. I keep repeating I can hear you, then he hangs up and calls back. He does this same process, I said Mr. Morgan I can hear you but I don't think you can hear me so I don't think this is going to work. All of the sudden Mr. Morgan said oh there you are! I said Mr. Morgan you know to protect myself and the company you represent, I am sure you wouldn't mind sending me your email address now would you? He said we don't correspond through email. I said well Mr. Morgan if you can't provide me an email address proving that you work at the company I am going to have to cut this conversation short. He gets upset and said fine I will send it to you now. He hangs up on me and sometime later (like he is making a new email account) I get a message with an email address. Here is my email address [email protected] (didn't even spell his/her own name right). Now at this point I am so burred in the red flags it is crazy! I don't respond and he says "Got it?" I said oh Mr. Morgan I have it alright, with two other phone numbers, and the fake names you have been using, and I want to thank you because I am going to let them company that you are trying to impersonate know this information. If you worked for this company you would have had an email on their domain. I then suggested he burn those phones and numbers and get new names and a new company to impersonate. I also followed up letting him and Mr. Johnson Cole know that my degree is in Cybersecurity and perhaps they should be more diligent in who they are trying to prey on.

I had been receiving numerous text messages from different companies saying they saw my resume on CareerBuilders, and thought I was a good fit for their company. Offered an immediate interview through Teams, and the pay rate started at $35/hr. After 3 different texts from 3 different companies with the same format, i became suspicious. I looked up the companies, and although some looked legitimate, there were also multiple complaints about being scammed by the companies in the same manner (job interview). I did not go any further with the offer.

My resume was "approved" for a chat representative/data entry/admin/call center role. The pay being offered is disproportionate to what the job entails.
The company they mentioned is legit, but obviously they have noting to do with it.
I responded yes to see where this would go, and they told me to download the teams app for an online interview
Employment scam

Received a text that I was selected for an interview. The company is in Australia and I live in the US (+ it's from a US #).
I asked about location and was told it was an online position as an administrative assistant/data entry. The "$45/hr" clinched it as a scam.
