A Mr. Gonzalez has left me over a dozen messages stating that I need to call back about a matter that is going to court. When I called back they are using my old married name, they are reciting my FULL social security number, they have my license number, email address and past employer. I was told to get a criminal lawyer for a payday loan that supposedly was taken out over ten years ago.

Person stated i owe a bill from 2015 for 1800 and he is going to put a judgement on Me for that amount. Be stated that his name is Perry from ECN

A Mr. Gonzalez called and said he is calling on behalf of ECN. Said they have an important matter to discuss with me concerning one of my accounts. When I called they said it was from a company called EZ Corp regarding a pay day loan. I told them I never heard of EZ Corp and never took out any loans. I have recognized Mr. Gonzalez' voice from other calls identifying himself as Mike saying that I have been non-compliant and evasive and are pending a court hearing. One of the other numbers they have used is 866-383-1452 and 877-756-3213.

Mr. Gonzales calls every day and leaves me a message. He has called on my cell phone and my landline. When I call back the number given I never get an answer. I one time pushed the number 1 and waited for someone to pick up and all that happened was a message that said "no one is available to answer the phone and please leave my name and number. I just hung up. Clearly this is a scam but very harassing as I still get a call every day even though I blocked the number. The initial call came from 425 200 9577

Scammer called family members first then called me. Scammer claimed they were a firm collecting a 2015 debt from a payday loan and that we wouldn’t go to court, we’d just move right to wage garnishment and a defrauding financial institution charge. When I said I didn’t care they called me an [censored] and my wife a [censored]. Give these people nothing.

These people called me and left an automated message, then started contacting my family leaving "urgent" messages making it seem as if something has happened to me and needed them call them back. I called back the number they left as well as the number they called from and it just rings no one answers, scary they are contacting my family members and scaring them as well.

A Mr. Gonzalez kept calling me about an important matter. Called my daughter too. I called back and my case manager Cynthia stated i owed money from 2013 and 2015 and if i did not pay now, i would be marked as refusing. I asked her to mail me the documents and she hung up. I called back and was greeted by a man who called me a liar. He hung up on me but then called me back stating they marked my file as refusing and he told me to get a lawyer. I then called back and they kept hanging up on me. Finally, when someone did answer, i asked for their address. I was told it is 123 None of your business.

Mr Gonzalez has called me everyday for the last month. He's gone so far to call my husband, my mother, and my brother. Allegedly this is for a payday loan, that I've never taken. I live in Arkansas, and we don't even have payday loans in this state. If he had just called me, I would be okay, but he's harassing my family now. If I had legitimately taken out a payday loan, I would gladly pay it to stop the harassment, but this is a scam.

I called and spoke to Markus Wright ext 105. He already had all of my information and read off my social and everything. He claims I took out a payday loan in 2011 for $500. This never happened. I tried to get to the bottom of it but it was no help. Before I reached him I called several times for information and each time was spoken to rudely and hung up on. There seems to be no way to dispute this as he said when this goes to judgement, the judge will make me pay anyway.

Called saying I owed a check advance company from 2015 and they wanted to settle before they garnish my wages. They knew everything about me including my address and social security number. Said they’d settle for a smaller amount

Got a call from 985-397-8524 from Mr. Gonzalez from ECN saying there was a matter in their office that needed my immediate attention. Left a voicemail stating to call 325-244-7821. Stating I owe a debt back in 2015.

Got a call on my cellphone from a local number (510) 201-9105 from a Mr Gonzalez from ECN saying there was a matter in their office that needed my immediate attention. This sounds very familiar to a scam that was attempted in January of 2023 in which they said there was an outstanding payday loan in my name (which is false, and I reported it to the ScamPulse.com and confirmed it would be removed from any credit reports it might be listed on). I have searched the ScamPulse.com website for this company ECN and it is not listed as a credible company in their system. I have blocked the number and am reporting it through ScamPulse.com for others to be aware of this latest scam.
