On 12/14/2022 a woman called me claiming to be part of a government program tasked with getting more eligible people signed up for Medicare and Medicaid. She said her name was Tiffany and asked my age. She immediately said I was eligible for the very highest tier package, which would give me Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield at the. Gold level, and there would be zero co-pays for any doctor visit of any kind ever .I have been seeing a lot of doctors lately, so I stupidly decided to trust someone for the 1st time in a long time. She took my name, address, phone numbers, email address, everything BUT my social security number. I stopped and asked her what proof she could give me that she was legit, but all she could come up with was that a packet would be sent in the mail, and I was too fill that out and send it in. She said I could wait and just put my SSN on that. She left me her office number, *** *** ****, and I should tell all my friends to call her and sign up. She then gave me a confirmation number of 07344 and told me not to lose it.
