On April 4, 2022, we purchased furniture totaling $12,585 from Tom Gosinski at DawsonHome. Two chairs and two benches totaling $5156 were ordered as they were not in stock, but were paid for along with the entire order at the time of purchase. Despite multiple phone calls and in person visits over the course of the next year, the chairs and benches were never delivered. Finally, on April 25, 2023, Mr. Gosinski offered and we agreed to cancel the order for the chairs and benches. The total amount owed was $5966.32 including a damaged piece of wall art Mr. Gosinski refused to reimburse us for and taxes. After several phone calls, he reimbursed us $1000 on June 8, 2023, then no more. We were forced to hire an attorney and after court appearances and attorney costs, the money was finally reimbursed in October, 2024. In addition to the hassle and the heartache, our cost was nearly $3600 in attorney fees.
