2/28/24-approx 7 am-I called Rosenberg Garage Door repair phone number because my garage door wouldn't open. I was told a technician would call me back, the technician came out looked at my garage door, and quoted $1500 with 20-year warranty. I asked if he accepted credit cards, and he said he wouldn't charge tax if I paid cash. I told him I didn't have that much money. He asked for $1200 I said let me check. I told him no. He then asked for $1000 with a 10-year warranty, I said ok. I knew then I was being scammed because he came from $1500-$1000. While he was working I called the business, asked for a manager, and was told one wasn't available, I inquired about the price and they wouldn't give me any information. I returned to the website and noticed company name emblems on their trucks. I went outside and inquired why there wasn't a company emblem on the truck, and he responded he didn't know. This confirmed for me something wasn't right. I told him I only had $800, and he said $900, I told him NO $800. Upon completion (15mins) I gave him $800 cash, and he asked NO TIP? I said no you just screwed me. He told me he replaced the spring and the coils. I asked for his business card he didn't have any. I asked for a receipt and warranty he texted one to me and said the warranty would be with it. When he left I noticed the spring was used and he just reattached the coils that were there. I called asking for a manager and was told one would call me back for a week. I went to the address for the company on B.F. Terry Blvd to find out Rosenberg Garage Door is out of business. I called the number and company for 3 weeks before being able to speak to a manager who stated he didn't make the prices and would send me the warranty. To this date, I haven't received the warranty. After research, this is not the Rosenberg Garage company, the receipt says FNG Garage Doors Service which isn't a legit business either. The phone number is to a business on 4018 Ocee #A in Houston.

I was desperate when I was leaving for work and my garage door broke, I didn't know what to do at 6 am so I went to the internet for a garage repair business in Rosenberg. This company appeared and it turned out to be a scam company. I am a single senior citizen.

I do not want anyone else scammed by this company falsely using another company's website and name.

I called the company to come check my garage. He told me the spring was broke and he had to replace the two rollers, he said it's going to be $850 dollars. Then he told me I had to pay an extra 350. The total I tried to Zelle was 1,229.99 that is what he said I owed. My bank said they needed 24 hrs to pay because they think the company was a scam. I then provided my credit card and they over charged it. They charged 1,344 dollars. It took the guy 15 minutes to fix my garage door and they want 1,344. I reached out to the company they were no help at all.
