Person told me he was with card member services and listed the names of my credit cards and the total amount of debt I had. He said because I had good payment history and over $5K in debt I was eligible for a 6% interest rate on all of my cards. He said it would show up on my next statement. I asked if I could see the offer in writing before agreeing to it and he repeated it would show up on my statement. He asked me which card I would like to start with. And I asked him if he had access to all of my cards information. He said yes, and I said ok, then just do it on all of them. Again he said which one do you want to start with. I asked do you need me to give you my card numbers? And he said yes, I told him I don't feel comfortable giving that information over the phone. He replied "[censored] off" and hung up.
