I inquired via text message about a 5th wheel camper for sale by this person, a 2010 Durango KZ, asking price $5500.00. SInce they had only posted three pictures, all of the exterior, I asked if they could provide more. They responded by asking for my email address and they would send them to me. A day later I did receive about a dozen more pictures of the interior and exterior and was eager to arrange to go and see it and replied by email to that effect. I then received a response telling me if I would provide my full name, address, and phone number they would tell Green Shippers that I was their buyer and Green Shippers would arrange to collect my payment and then ship the camper to me, and I would then have 5 days to inspect the camper, and if not fully satisfied, ship it back to Green Shippers at no cost to me. This now sounded fishy, so I decided to look up Green Shippers and lo and behold found an entry on the BBB website that detailed this scam almost word for word, except for a utv instead of a camper! I immediately replied to the scammer's email that I was no longer interested. Of course now I'm concerned because they do have my email and phone number. Hopefully, this post prevents someone else from falling for this.
