Contacted me on the Houston Residential Contractor Group about a fence that I needed replaced. He met with me at the job. I wrote a down payment check for materials sign the contract. He said he was gonna leave his guy there to remove the fence while he went to Home Depot to get materials. Five minutes later, the guy acts like he’s calling him and then he tells us man I think y’all got scammed. He’s not even answering my calls anymore. I’m thinking they both scammed us. I’m sure they did or why would he think that he scammed me after five minutes being gone. So I tried to call him and he would never answer me so I went to Home Depot and he was not there. Drove to the bank and he did cash the check so I got his Texas drivers license number and expiration date, and went over to the courthouse to file a theft charge. They were both in on it so beware!
