Ed Travis, 45 Loop 150 W, Bastrop, TX 78602, 512-627-3841, [email protected], Chevy Impala. All contact by text messages. Offer to pay $500/mo for putting a decal ad on your car back window for a drink called Carabao Energy Drink. (A search says it's a drink in central America) Said his name was Mark Erling. After some delays they finally sent a check for $3,750.00 for installation and removal costs by their experts and 500 for me. Said to deposit right away for extra bonus. When done said to take an extra $50 bonus out. Said I'd receive a pressure washer machine when installers arrived to keep my vehicle looking good while their ad was on it. Wanted me to use Zelle, PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay. I said I didn't use those. They wanted a way to confirm the payment so wanted me to buy VISA prepaid cards for $500 each times 6 for $3,000.00. and take an extra $200 for me. I couldn't do it right a way and that move raised my warning sensors. I delayed and was busy anyway and two days later before buying them, checked with my bank and they said the check had been returned for NSF (non sufficient funds). When notified of the NSF they have not responded yet. They probably were going to have me send the gift card numbers to someone and then later when their check bounced I'd be out $3, 756.00!
