Canada:88 Lasalle, Sudbury, ON P3A 1Z7. Was then called by a William Richardson at (845)753-4447 ext 1015 asking me all kinds of information. I couldn't understand him so I respectfully asked for someone else he immediately got upset naturally and ignored my request (red flag #1) and said that I was approved for $35000 (red flag #2) which is not right because I have terrible credit. Then he asked me if I could pay in 36 mos. I said no, I would need a 60 mos term. He said we can do 48. I said ok then I cannot do the loan. He said it's ok we can do 60 mos (red flag #3). He then began to speak quickly and I had to stop him. I stated that if I couldn't get someone who I can clearly understand the terms of my loan then I will have to cancel. He got angry again (red flag #4). He spoke more slowly and clearly and asked if I wanted direct deposit or a check. I was already very skeptical at this point so I said check. He said ok I can have a check sent to your doorstep in 2 hours (red flag #5), we just need to verify a couple of things (nothing major). Then he said he needed a picture of my driver's license and a selfie and email it to him (red flag #6). I said ok, I'm busy at the moment, I'll get that to you in about 10 mins and I'll call you back. He said ok I'll wait. Hung up the phone and immediately started researching. The original place I applied for was Fox Financials:

Called the number and immediately said cannot be completed as dialed (red flag #7). Looked at the website he provided www.10xfinancial.com

I then looked into the TX address he provided and it brought me to a website for loans but it was a completely different company B&F Finance corporation (red flag #9). I then looked at the address on the 10X website and it came up on a scam website with a situation very similar to mine operating then under Dream Finances (red flag #10). I then looked up the number he called from which was a NY number and it came up on a site stating from someone the number texted them with a disturbing text of some kind (red flag #11). By this time he had called me back and I ignored the call (red flag #12) Then he sent another email stating that he was waiting for my photos. I replied with a simple sorry cancel my loan please. He replied with can I know the reason? (Red flag #13) to which I replied just cancel my application. That was the end of that. I didn't lose any money (maybe not yet) thankfully but everything about that whole situation and the several addresses and the dead end phone numbers, nothing relating to each other was all wrong. I don't want someone to really get taken for everything.
