I applied for a Proofreader job and the interview was solely through TEAMS app via text message and questionnaire. Once I was "selected" I had to fill out a W4 and a direct deposit form. All of my personal information was given. When I questioned the check they wanted to deposit into my account for the payment of equipment, the person on TEAMS stopped responding to me.
