I signed a contract for the paving of my brother-in-laws driveway. $1000 to be paid upfront and $2000 when complete. He had just completed my driveway at my own home (so I paid). He informed me that he was short of funds and couldn't do my brother-in-law's unless I could pay him all in advance. As he was a neighbor and had done work for me before, I agreed and paid him the remaining $2000. He was to do the driveway the next day. It didn't happen. I text and call him over the reminder of summer and the fall. Most times he would say he would be their in a day or so. The driveway was never done. There are several complaints of the same scam or just shoddy work. I have filed for charges with the county sheriff and they forwarded my case to the county DA but so far no action. for some reason the courts have failed to address this person for any complaint. Too busy, so be careful. He also operates under other names including George Young Paving and Young Paving.
