On 13 February I was approached by Leon Low, an HR representative from YCH Group, a company based in Singapore, this opportunity as a supply chain manager was displayed on LinkedIn. After the interview I was hired, documents were sent for me to complete and I felt for it, I provided my personal information, such as ID, social security, and banking information. Soon after I provided my information, I was asked to purchase equipment for my job, this equipment is with a value of over $5,000.00 and send this equipment to a third party for the programs to be uploaded these items are, Apple MacBook Pro 16” (Core i7 Retina display running OS-10.14 Mojave), iPad Pro and iPad Keyboard, and iPhone 16 unblocked. I refused to purchase and withdrew my acceptance to this position. I have reported them for fraud and froze my credit report, yet I am upset just thinking they are doing this to other people as well. I beg you please do something about this, at least scare them for them to stop. I am also contacting LinkedIn and reporting them. I truly appreciate your attention and support in stopping this.
