A text was sent to our office to provide a removal estimate at their east Nashville home (2607 Pennington Avenue (Nashville, TN) 37216). The texter said their name was Allen Willis and their phone number was 240-686-5703 which is a google subscriber. Our arborist looked at their tree they described in a photo to take down and we emailed over an estimate for removal. We also left the contact a voicemail to please call us and to sign the proposal if they wanted to persue tree work. Allen did call on 3/17/2025 and said he was going to send a signed proposal over to us but that he wanted to pre-pay for the $3100 bid before we scheduled with a credit card. Then he said he wanted to send us $8000 total and that we should substract our owed amount and we pay the rest of the balance over to people working on his house since he was out of state. I told him wait, no, that is not right and illegal to do and that we cannot do business with him two times. Then after this call, Allen proceeds to send us a signed contract regardless after telling him we cannot do business with him.
